Chinese billionaire Chanchai Ruayrungruang has been trying to find a buyer for his lavish mansion in Beverly Hills since April of this year, when the Los Angeles Times reported he listed the home for $24.95 million. Now, as noted by Business Insider, he's cut the asking price on the home by $2.45 million, lowering the price to $22.5 million.

Whatever the price, the 9,393-square-foot mansion is an impressive piece of work from architect Paul McClean and famous real estate developer Nile Niami. The listing refers to it as a "[b]eautifully appointed contemporary estate," and goes on to tout its "unobstructed A+ explosive views of Downtown, Catalina & the coastline" and its "[p]roven filming history [which] provides substantial income for investors."

On a more practical level, the house has six bedrooms and six baths, along with an extra two half baths, all behind a sturdy and elegant 12-foot gate for privacy (and for impressing visitors). There's also a full array of amenities inside, including a home movie theater, home gym, steam room, wine room, wet bar, game room, and "Cigar Lounge." There's an up-to-date Chef's Kitchen, which the listing describes as offering "Siematic cabinetry, dual book-matched marble islands, built-in Wine Station & coffeemaker."

Outside you'll find the striking courtyard with its distinctive olive tree as well as a two-story fountain structure, plus an expansive patio with a separate outdoor kitchen, barbecue, and multiple seating areas. Then there's the obligatory "negative-edge" infinity pool with colored lighting and adjoining spa.

Reading about it is all well and good, but to really appreciate the home being sold by Ruayrungruang you should take a look at the video below from the Listings YouTube Channel:

And in case you're wondering, even with the recent discount the $22.5 million asking price, the offer does include all of the furnishings inside the home, according to its official listing.
