Tom Kelly is an American songwriter and musician who has a net worth of $25 million. Tom Kelly played in Dan Fogelberg's backup band and released two albums with the band Fool's Gold. He became a session singer in Los Angeles, California and toured with the band Toto in 1979. He wrote the hit song "Fire and Ice" with Pat Benatar in 1981.

He is best known for his songwriting partnership with Billy Steinberg. The team of Steinberg and Kelly co-wrote the #1 hit songs "Like a Virgin" by Madonna in 1984, "True Colors" by Cyndi Lauper in 1986, "Eternal Flame" by the Bangles in 1989, "So Emotional" by Whitney Houston in 1987, "Alone" by Heart in 1987, "I Drove All Night" by various artists in 1987, "I Touch Myself" by the Divinyls in 1990, "I'll Stand By You" by The Pretenders in 1994, and "One & One" by Edyta Gorniak in 1997. Both Steinberg and Kelly were inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2011.
