It's now abundantly clear that Kanye West's love of Wyoming is much more than a passing phase. TMZ reports that he has plunked down an unspecified sum on a huge, 9,000-acre ranch in Wyoming known as Monster Lake Ranch, which had been listed for an asking price of $14 million.
Whatever Kanye paid for the property, it's reportedly under the $14 million asking price. And somewhat interestingly, only half of Monster Lake Ranch's 9,000 acres are actually owned wholly by him, as the other half are on a lease from Uncle Sam.
As for the property itself, Monster Lake Ranch gets its name from the "monster trout" that are evidently abundant for fishing on the ranch's two freshwater lakes. The sprawling ranch is also home to a total of eight lodging units, a restaurant, event and meeting centers, and lots of horses, as well as all the facilities necessary for the latter. As Monster Lake Ranch's own official site puts it:
"Take in the breathtaking, panoramic views of the Absaroka range of the nearby Rocky Mountains and experience flat water fly fishing and bird hunting second to none. We offer several different lodging choices that range from cabin rentals to tipi camping. No matter which accommodation you choose, Monster Lake Ranch provides a true Western lodging experience in Cody, Wyoming."
Judging by a recent video posted on the TeamKanyeDaily account, Kanye is already enjoying his time on his new property. Take a look:

Last May, in an interview with Charlamagne tha God, he spoke about his ambition to become a titan in the field of real estate:
"I'm going to be one of the biggest real-estate developers of all time—what Howard Hughes was to aircrafts and what Henry Ford was to cars. Just the relationships I have with architects, my understanding of space and sacred proportions, just this new vibe, this new energy…We gonna develop cities."
Whatever his future plans for his new Wyoming ranch might be, Kanye West certainly has plenty of space to carry them out. In the meantime, you can take a look at Monster Lake Ranch in the video below, courtesy of the property's own official YouTube channel:
