A sprawling Palo Alto mansion, that until recently was the home of ex-Facebook COO Owen Van Natta, has been put up for sale. It's priced at a cool $40 million, a profit margin of $31 million against what he paid for it in 2011, which reflects the extensive renovation and remodel he had done on the home.

The estate, which dates back more than a hundred years to 1917, sprawls over a little more than an acre of land in what the mansion's official listing from DeLeon Reality calls "Palo Alto's most prestigious neighborhood," known as Old Town Palo Alto. As for the mansion itself, it measures in at nearly 11,000 square feet, with space for five bedrooms, seven bathrooms (and three half-baths), all in the English Tudor style. The listing goes on:
