That is a combined net worth with her husband for more than 20 years, retired professional hockey player Valeri Bure. Candace Cameron Bure is best known for starring as D.J. Tanner on the hit television show "Full House" as a child and later its reboot "Fuller House."

Early Life

Candace Cameron Bure was born Candace Helaine Cameron on April 6, 1976, in Panorama City, Los Angeles. She is the younger sister of fellow actor Kirk Cameron, and their parents are Robert and Barbara Cameron.

Career

Before landing the part on "Full House," Candace appeared in small roles in a series of television shows like "Growing Pains" (alongside her big brother Kirk), "Punky Brewster," and "St. Elsewhere." In 1987, she had a role as the youngest sister of Eric Stoltz in the teen comedy "Some Kind of Wonderful."

Later that year, Bure began the most prominent role of her career when she was cast on the ensemble family sitcom "Full House" as Donna Jo "D.J." Tanner, the oldest daughter of widower Danny Tanner, played by Bob Saget. "Full House" originally ran from September 22, 1987, to May 23, 1995. During its run, the show aired 192 episodes over 8 seasons and is still a staple of syndicated television today, more than 20 years since it ended. While on "Full House," Candace was featured in many made-for-TV movies such as: "No One Would Tell," "She Cried No," "NightScream," and "Camp Cucamonga." She also starred in an episode of "Bill Nye the Science Guy" and also appeared alongside Tom Hanks and Sally Field in the feature film "Punchline." In 1990, Bure hosted the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards with her "Full House" co-star Dave Coulier, and again in 1994 with Joey Lawrence, becoming the first person to host twice.

After Full House ended, Candace continued to appear in movies and television shows. She guest-starred on shows like "Cybill" and "Boy Meets World." After she had children, she took a self-imposed hiatus from acting to devote her time to her family and children. In 2007, she guest-starred on "That's So Raven," and the next year, she appeared in "The Wager" with Randy Travis. In 2008, Bure began appearing in Hallmark movies, starting with "Moonlight and Mistletoe" co-starring Tom Arnold.

Candace has been married to Russian professional hockey player Valeri Bure since 1996. Valeri earned around $22.5 million in salary before taxes during his career in the NHL. They met at a charity hockey game run by her "Full House" co-star Dave Coulier. Today, Valeri and Candace have three children together: a daughter and two sons. Her daughter Natasha Bure competed in season 11 of "The Voice" at age 18. After he retired from hockey, Valeri and Candace briefly opened a restaurant together in Pembroke Pines, Florida. They also launched a winery with some friends called Bure Family Wines.

Candace is an outspoken conservative Republican and a Christian. She became a Christian at the age of 12 and credits her faith as the binding force in her marriage. She is a supporter of Compassion International, and the Bure family sponsors three children through the charity.
